The mission of the Entrepreneur’s Ecosystem (EE) is to strengthen Africa’s economy by inspiring intra-African investment and entrepreneurship, while working to expand and strengthen private enterprises through online and offline communications, resources and events. Through these activities the EE will increase the number of entrepreneurs in Africa (beginning with Nigeria), along with the amount of funding from Africa based VCs into African companies, and by doing so, increase the number of jobs in Africa.
Measurable goals include:
- Increase the number of entrepreneurs in Nigeria
- Increase the amount of funding from Africa based VCs into African companies
- Increase the amount of SMEs in Nigeria working in conjunction with other African companies
- Increase the number of jobs created per capital in Nigeria
Alitheia Capital Limited drives The Entrepreneur’s Ecosystem with support from The Aspen Institute of Development Entrepreneurs, who has committed to providing funding for a portion of the Entrepreneurs’ Ecosystem’s activities through its Capacity Development Fund.
